Roles and Responsibilities

Designation: Tech Lead Java J2EE Development Gurgaon

Position Reports to: CTO/ Technology Manager

Place of Posting: Udyog Vihar Phase 1, Gurgaon

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with Flexi Time and Hybrid Working

Role & Responsibilities:

• Enterprise level Architecture design and guide tech teams to implement solution as per the architecture design and plan.
• Pair program with new developers on the existing system to build capability.
• Identify and mitigate gaps in technical design, functional requirements with team members to develop and deliver high quality software.
• Manage team of Java Developers and Senior Java Developers.
• Design and develop Java/ J2EE and databases based web App.
• Collaborate with independent front end development teams.
• Use native apps on various devices on different technologies.
• Assists in tracking progress of software development and accountability to the Project Manager for the team.
• Ensure completion of delivery of large scale web based products.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Education, Experience and Competencies:

• BE/ B.Tech/ MCA with 5+ Year experience in Core Java, Struts 2, Hibernate, Java Script/ JQuery, Web services, MYSQL using Agile methodologies and AWS Infrastructure.
• Hands on Engineering Processes like code review, technical documentation, swagger, liquibase. GIT etc.
• Must have knowledge of Scrum and Kanban.
• Must be able to play independent technical leadership role and participate with stake holders in designing & planning enterprise level product architecture.
• Must have hands-on experience in designing and architecting enterprise level systems and applications.
• Prior experience of handling distributed systems development using J2EE application stack will be of advantage.
• Ability to handle complex technical development concepts with latest software tools and technologies.
• Must have strong database concepts and object oriented design techniques.
• Sound understanding of different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment.
• Prior experience of working with end to end server side development and web based front end development.
• Ability to design, develop and complete delivery of large scale web based products.
• Hands-on with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum Model.
• Must be very strong on:

a. CoreJava/ J2EE (Collection, Multi-Threading, Design patterns, Synchronization).

b. Struts 2(Interceptors, Action Classes, Struts Tags, Filter Dispatcher).

c. Hibernate (Session factory, Session, Transaction, Criteria, HQL, Mapping, Caching) OR JDBC.

d. Java Script/ JQuery (AJAX, Dynamic UI).

e. Web Services (REST and JAX).

f. MYSQL (Advance Query Optimization, Stored Procedures).

• Prior experience in spring MVC will be of advantage.

• Knowledge of security aspects of the frameworks and tools such as Sonarqube will be an advantage.
