Position Reports to: DGM – Engineering

Place of Posting: DLF Cybercity, Gurgaon

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with Flexi Time

Brief Profile:

• Creative, curious, and ambitious technology content creator to join our highly-skilled and enthusiastic team of Software Geeks involved in development of gaming platforms & gaming Engines for clients in Lottery, Casino, betting and gaming solutions.
• An independent tech document creator, curious to learn about technology and love breaking technical concepts into Technical Document.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Create consistent Darwin Information Type Architecture (DITA) compliant customization content.
• Create target audience specific information based on end-user analysis.
• Drive a cohesive end-to-end content experience that move clients through their product journey.
• Ensure alignment, validation, and review of the documentation together with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Product Managers/ Tech Leads and articulate crisply and clearly the capabilities, functionalities, and USPs of our products and solutions and develop user guides, knowledge articles, videos, and in-platform documentation such as tooltips, welcome instructions etc.
• Integrate subject matter expertise with a solid understanding of technical writing industry standards and best practices to continuously improve information product offerings and support Skilrock technical writing excellence.
• Plan, document, and publish release notes for product releases, including weekly hotfixes.
• Review documents and edit them with an eye for detail.
• Compose feature documentation, including why we introduced a feature, how-to guide, and use cases.
• Write technology blogs, news, and announcements.

Key Deliverables:

• Design, develop, and publish Skilrock technical content such as product tours, messages, product documentation, API documentation, multimedia/ videos & graphics etc. which is easy to use, understand, and retrieve.
• Simplify and deliver technically complex concepts and details from multiple sources into cohesive product story that is clear, inclusive, accessible to the global audience.
• Influence product design decisions to deliver the best user experiences we can offer to our clients.
• Define documentation plans, audience and purpose, project schedules, and priorities. Manage projects that involve worldwide teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B. Tech with minimum 5 years of documented experience in software product environment.
• Strong competency in identifying complicated and grammatically incorrect sentences and make them simple and jargon-free.
• Hands-on with creating content such as videos and illustrations that are interesting and easy to follow.
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Prior experience of creating structured technical DITA compliant documentation.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and text editing tools shall be an added advantage.
• Create and store technical documents systematically and take ownership of deliverables.
• Experience of gaming product solution industry shall be an added advantage
• Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technology topics relating to Lottery, Gaming and Betting.
